?Question?

We are thinking of taking Logan to a movie this weekend. This comes out on Friday and we are positive that Logan will love it because he is OBSESSED with pirates. Arghh!! Any advice about taking a 2 ½ year old to a movie? We're not too worried since we're pretty sure the core audience will be in the toddler age range, but it is the first time.

One other point of business - it's de-lurking day. So if you comment often, rarely comment or have never commented (I'm talking about you - family!!) now is your chance to say hello! I look forward to seeing who has been reading (or not) my blog lately :)

No tips here, we've not taken Jack to a movie yet. I've thought about it though. I say go-fer-it. The worst thing that could happen is that you have to leave :). Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Hiya, Tanya! Sorry I've not been blogging (or commenting) recently. I'm annoyed at Microsoft - Spaces takes longer and longer to load, so it seems like more hassle than it's worth to blog. I'm thinking of upgrading to the blog without ads, which *may* help with my freezing problem. It's probably all part of Microsoft's evil plan to take over the world. *sigh* I have updated though, so c'mon over if you wanna.

As for the movie - Go! It *is* a kid's movie, and any adult who gets upset at a 2.5-year old possibly making some noise has NO business going to that movie. Besides, every other kid will be making noise, too.

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your ND winter. We're setting records here in Spokane for snowfall, and I'm lovin' it!

Take care!

Two words. Pop. Corn. Don't do candy because you'll have a firecracker to contain within a half-hour. :D

Scooter LOVES popcorn. We know this because we get it when we go to Target (It's $1 for a big bag of popcorn and a medium soda). When we got to the movies (it was PG-13, by the way... the Nicholas Cage movie where they go find treasure by looking for clues... what's the name??) the FIRST thing Scooter announced was, "I really LOVE popcorn!" When he thought nobody heard him, he repeated, more loudly, "Everybody! I REALLY, REALLY LOVE popcorn!" I informed him that we could have popcorn after we got home... Jonathan has this THING about buying expensive popcorn (I DO see his point, but STILL! It's the MOVIES!) at the theater.

Anyway. Yeah. And if you get soda, another BIG treat, make sure it has no real sugar in it. :)

And be happy for diapers. :)

And take a Logan's lovey.

thanks for stopping by!

Good luck with the movie - I guess it depends on his attention span; if you think he'll sit through however long it is then everything should be ok...if it doesn't hold his attention then I guess just be prepared to leave early if you need to :)

I'm no help, either. We have yet to take Haddie. However, she can sit through children's movies at home (well, most of them) so I think given the right movie, we'd hit the theatres!
