Holy Cow - SNOW!!

We had such a fun snow day here! Unfortunately, we weren't able to build a snowman since the snow that accumulated last night was very powdery. Logan was in heaven though- and as you can see we bought him a hat, gloves and boots. He did not enjoy wearing the gloves until we went outside and he realized that they actually served a purpose. If we would have let him, he would have been outside ALL DAY. Every time we came inside he threw a hissy fit that a two-year-old would be proud of.

We were able to retrieve our car this afternoon. The sun was out all morning and it helped to melt some of the snow. Although now, it's around 20* out and the water and slush is freezing once again. And the weatherman says another storm is heading our way. School has been cancelled again for tomorrow - but Mike will be one of the brave ones and will be heading off to work. I just hope it doesn't take him all night to get back home.

Minus the occasional fits and the icy roads it was a fun, fun day! We don't get many of them around here so when we do we enjoy them!

I LOVE hearing about the snow!! I'm having the slightest bit of snow envy... lol It's going to be raining here through the next couple of days... Not as much fun as snow! But not as cold either. *sigh* You give some, you take some, huh? :) I should also say I love SEEING the snow!! The pictures you've been posting are adorable! Scooter says to tell Logan that he wants to compare tantrums. :)

Your day sounds truly wonderful. I recommend getting Scotchguard waterproofing spray and attacking the seat and knees of Logan's snow pants - it's been a lifesaver for us. Nothing worse than a cold, wet kid. I've been looking for the snow you're supposed to be sending our way, but it's sunny with bright blue skies today. What gives?! Currently 9* so it's CHILLLLY.

I'm with you - I enjoy seeing movies in theaters, even if they aren't exactly to my liking. A big bag of fresh popcorn can overcome a bad movie any day!

As for the sick kids in with the healthy ones, that brilliant idea came from mom- and dad-in-law. And they're BOTH nurses! We (they) couldn't decide what to do (it was Black Friday, and they were worried about traffic, etc.), so we ended up just staying at their place all day. Fun. We took them all to the movies with us, and mom and dad were trying to decide how to split up the snacks and who was going to share with whom and whatnot. I told them that *I* would pay for every kid to have his or her own bag of popcorn and drink. I did NOT want little hands reaching in to the same bags or drinking from the same straws. They thought I was overreacting. I'm surprised my in-laws haven't killed anyone yet! We're at 5 days since exposure...hoping we make it through with no barfiness.

Hope you and Logan enjoy another snowy day and that the roads stay clear for Mike (You sent him in the Explorer, right?). Love the photos. Take care, and Happy Wednesday!

WOW! Look at all that snow! How fun!! I hope we get at least a day's worth of snow here this year. I'd love to take the girls sledding. It's cold enough... just need some clouds... LOL!

Keep having fun in that snow! BTW, Is that a pic of your house? I'm jealous! Look at all those trees! Very pretty!

Just beautiful, Tanya. We never get enough to stick, just enough to get people to forget their manners when they are driving. I swear people feel like they can still drive 65! :-)

Logan looks like he is having a blast!

I tagged you! Not because I hate you--I actually like you very much! It's just that I only have eight bloggin' buddies nowadays, so it was only a matter of elimination. :) Come check our blog for details. :)
