3 Weeks and 2 Days

That is how long we have to pack everything, get the house listed to sell and be back in ND so Mike can begin his new job :) :) :)

He starts on February 1st!! He had a follow-up interview this morning and they gave him the news then. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers - it worked!

The really, really, really hard part of all of this (other than leaving behind our dear friends)? Logan will not be coming back to Washington with us. Instead he will be getting spoiled by Grandpa, Grandmas, and many Aunts and Uncles. I think I will have the hardest time tonight with this when we say goodbye at the airport. The most I've ever been apart from him is for one night - in 17 months!

That's all I've got for now. Now excuse me while I go and do a happy dance!!

Congratulations on the new job! Wowowow that is a lot to get done in a small amount of time! Logan will be just fine, sweetie! But you are moving so far away! Will you be able to come to the SSBM getaway?? Oh please try! You know you would be most welcome!

Hugs, and congrats again!

Hurray Hurray Hurray!! I'm so happy for you and your family. You will have a couple very busy weeks- I can't imagine not being with my kids for that long, but I'm sure it will make the move go a lot more smoothly to have Logan with your parents. Congrats,I'm doing a little happy dance for you!

Holy moly!! LOTS TO DO!! CONGRATULATIONS to your family! What a great opportunity!

I know how you feel leaving Logan. I left my CC with Gramma and Grampa when we moved to AZ back in '98. I was away from her for a week and it was tough. We left her with g'parents because we wanted to be able to go on a job search and get the house ready without worries of our baby-girl. The very minute I found out I had a job, I hopped in my car and drove back to CA to get my CC! I missed her so much!

CC was in good hands and I'm sure your Logan is in good hands too! He'll love all the attention he'll get! :)

Congrats again! Good luck on all the things you'll have to do!

Coming from a girl who has moved more times than somebody evading taxes, you're in for a fun time! Especially because you guys are established in a house! If/when we move this next time, it'll be way more complicated. As much as you'll miss Logan, in my humble opinion, you'd be way slower getting stuff packed! Scooter has been under my moving feet since he was born, and let me tell you...!!!

Of course, I worry a little about Logan--as long as you don't pick him up toting a younger brother or sister, he ought to be okay. :)

Jonathan's out of the shower! I need to go dry my hair and get ready for my OB appointment. :D 40 pounds off and counting!

Congrats on the new job! How exciting to be moving back home! I completely understand not wanting to leave Logan so far away. I left Charis with my parents while we went to England for a week and it about killed me. It still makes my heart ache when I have leave her with one of her grandparents, and they are only three hours away!

Enjoy the time though. There's lots to do, but take some time for just you and Mike. Things will go so much faster without a toddler undoing all the packing you do (we just did this a few months ago). Good luck!

oh sure - I finally meet a "real" blogger - and I even have hubby convinced that you're normal and everything and you're moving.

I knew he'd do it! Much congrats to you guys. But mixed congrats as we the west coasters will miss you.

The good news with being away from Logan is he's so totally in the moment, he won't be missing you nearly as much as you'll be missing him and it will be good for all of you. But I didn't catch how long you'll be apart - the whole time?

3 weeks? Yikes, you have alot to do. Best of luck. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Are you guys going to Craigslist anything?

I guess I better come pick up my lotion soon!

OH MY! What great news! I hope things go OK without your little man... that's got to be the hardest part. I have no doubt that you won't get everything else done. Congrats!

Oh yay Tanya!! That is super great news. I am sorry I haven't been around sooner to see it!

I know you'll miss your little guy - but getting all that stuff done will feel good as well.

Oooh - I am doing the happy dance!! And you know how dangerous that can be when you are 7 months preggo :) I'm about to pee myself for you!
