My Christmas Tour

Well I think I'm finally in the Christmas spirit. When Mike got back from ND and unpacked the two huge suitcases full of presents I think that pushed me over the edge. Before that I was so focused on other stuff mainly Mike's upcoming trip and job interview or yeah and the power outages while he was gone (we had a total of 3 - one for 3 1/2 hours, another for 1 1/2 hours and the last one for 9 hours). Like I said before, we will hear on Tuesday whether or not he got the job so I'm still a little distracted. Anyways on with the tour. I've seen a couple of bloggers opening up their homes and showing their decorations. Now I'd like to do the same. So come on in and take a look around.
Here is our front door - come on in (I made the wreath)!
As you come in the door you'll see the Christmas tree. We got a smaller one this year and have it up on a table, we're hoping this will detour Logan from ripping down all the decorations.

To the left of the tree you'll see the bookcase that Mike decorated. Didn't he do a great job?

Here is a close up of my snowman nativity scene:

This is our traditional Nativity scene that we received from my Grandpa & Grandma.

We received this cute little fibre optic "winter carnival" from Mike's Aunt last year. The ferris wheel and merry-go-round both spin.

Logan loves it!

Here is our dining room table. One of my Aunt's sewed the placemats for us - so cute!

Well, that's the tour of our home. I hope you had a great time - stop by again soon!

(I also made this swag)

Tanya, your decorations are beautiful! I'm glad you participated in the Christmas Tour as well! :)

You had a question about my Roly-Poly santa cookies. No, the dough was not hard to mix up. It doesn't have many ingredients to it and I just threw it in my mixer and it was done in seconds. Adding the red food coloring paste (found at Michael's) wasn't hard either...but again, I used my mixer.

You should give them a try!

I love your decorations! I heard about all those power outages and thought about you. I am so glad you made it through just fine and have Mike back home to cuddle up with!

Have a great week! I will be checking back in the next couple days!

I LOVE the snowman nativity - that would be perfect in our non-religious, Christian household. :)

I hope your weekend passed quickly. I know how the days can drag out when you're waiting so anxiously for something. Still got my fingers crossed for tomorrow's news.

Santa sent my boys two lovely letters. The boys said, "They were sent from EVERETT! Santa doesn't live in Washington!" Not quite sure what they think, but hubby and I sure enjoyed them! Thanks so much.

Have a fabulous, day, dearie.

Hey Tanya! Your decorations and very pretty! I always decorate so early. Thanksgiving has barely passed before I start putting things up. LOL!

I hope the news tomorrow is good news. I don't like waiting at all, so this would be tearing me apart!

Have a great night and let us know what the news is tomorrow!

And I WAS proud of myself for having four ornaments on the tree and some Christmas lights going up tonight... lol! I'd like to officially say that I have an excuse this year. Poor Jonathan had better watch out next Christmas, huh?

SOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Any word on the job??? I'll be checking in periodically to see if you blog anything about it... *holding my breath*
