Some Tidbits

I'm back to the bulleted list - here goes:

-We did not get the apartment. I called the guy today and he has decided to let someone else rent it - whatever. We're going to look at 2 more tonight, hopefully one of them won't have a problem renting to a couple with a toddler.

-We got snow dumped on us this last week so no more Spring for a little while longer. The past couple mornings it has been down in the single digits. What the heck is up with that?? Where is Spring?!?!

-Logan has learned the word no. It's pretty funny right now though because he uses it completely wrong. ANY question that you ask him his answer is "NO", (he also shakes his head when he replies). So if I ask him, "Logan, do you want some juice?" He's quick to reply with a "no", but then if you take it away he'll shout that he wants the juice. Cracks me up!

-He's also learned to say thanks ("tanks"), but this word he uses correctly. It's so cute when he's so polite. And he says it so nonchalantly, it's hilarious!

-He's begun to throw lovely screaming fits. He's always thrown a fit when he doesn't get his way (stomping his feet and crying), but now he's thrown screaming into the mix. Can I just say once again how lovely that is??

Glad to know my toddler isn't the only one who throws screaming fits! She is really good most of the time, but every once in a while she throws (and I mean litterally throws) herself on the floor, kicks her feet, closes her eyes and screams! Ugh. I have to leave the room when that happens. Too much for my nerves, but thank goodness it isn't often!

So sorry to hear they wouldn't rent the apartment to you, because of a toddler?! Crazy. Oh well, like you said, there are other apartments out there. Maybe he just wanted someone who might stay longer or something like that. Who knows?

Haha. Just thought about the no thing (sorry, brain is jumping around a bit). Charis says no too, the same way he does. Do you want a snack? No. then the screaming because we put it away! :)

Well, I hope you find an apartment soon!

Didn't rent to you because of a toddler? Isn't that illegal? I would question that, but that is me..get your dream house, that landlord is an idiot!

Hugs and hope that today is going well!

Hey Tanya!!

Sorry the house hunting isn't coming alont as smoothly as it should... at least you don't have your other house hanging over you now. Debt-free!? How's that feel? We did the same thing when we moved into this house. We paid off both our car loans... Felt pretty good!

I hope you find an apartment soon. That THIRD-FLOOR - NO ELEVATOR deal doesn't sound great anyway. You'd get tired of that one really fast!

I hope you are happy and well. Have a great weekend! That last egg-hunt was just practice for Logan... He'll be an ol' pro on Sunday! :)

Well thanks for stopping by. It's good to see some of the usual faces around again. Logan is looking great. It looks like he had a good time finding his easter eggs, we aren't gonna have one this year. Mommy and Daddy are too tired. Maybe next year. Congrats on the move. Well I have a few things to finish up on before Dave gets home from work. Have a good one and if I dont see ya Have a great Holiday!!

Welcome to official toddlerhood! The other challenges you've faced have all been *practice*. lol Aren't you glad you are a stay-at-home-mom??? lol

Isn't there a law against not renting to a couple with a toddler? Something like toddler discrimination or something? TODDLERS UNITE!
