Not in the Shower!!
Lately Logan has been showering with us. He really enjoys just standing under the shower-head, letting it soak him. It also makes it easier than listening to him scream outside of the shower while we rush to at least get a little clean. This morning after I had showered and we had eaten breakfast, Mike decided to shower. I was going to get Logan dressed while he was doing this but as soon as Logan heard the shower running he ran into our bedroom because he didn't want to miss out. We stripped him down and threw him in there.
I went downstairs to clean up from breakfast and about 3 minutes later Mike yelled for me. I went up into the bathroom, opened the door, and saw Logan standing there, and underneath him lay a.pile.of.poop! Yup, my child pooped in the shower. And even though I wasn't the one showering with him I still had to clean it up. I guess looking at it in perspective it was one less poopy diaper to change!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, that is TOOOOOOOOOOOO funny!!! Only because I've been through it!! Well, kind of... Scooter went through a phase of I'm-so-relaxed-I-like-to-poo-in-the-bathtub... But he hates showers, so there's our difference (the water spraying in his face makes him nervous--I don't blame him!). When we were at Dave & Phyllis' house, he bathed in their kitchen sink (they don't have a regular tub in their house) and he pooed regularly in there. Do you know how we cured it? My grungy child didn't have a bath for a WEEK! lol True story! We still have to watch carefully for looks of concentrated effort on his face, though...
I'm VERY GLAD that I was hurt and NOT Scooter!!!!! My thumb is already healing nicely (it looks ugly, but it's starting to seal along the edges). :D
I think you might have to re-request entrance into the blog... I set it to public for a little while for my sisters' grandma and when I changed it back to private, I lost my list of people who had requested entrance... I tried to "fix" it by adding everybody to my Friends list, but since you're not with MSN any more... lol No worries! Just re-request and you're back in! :D
The new blog is looking great! I had to keep pusing the play button on the videos for some reason though :( I love it when they giggle like the "gonna get you" movie. It makes your heart warm, yes?
And I still think Mike should have had to clean the mess - and you should have been laughing ;)

I love the new blog space! I had to keep pushing the play button on the videos but they were great! I love it when they giggle that much!!!
Oh and I still think Mike should have had to clean the poo - and you should've gotten the opportunity to sit and laugh!

Hey Girl I am trying this, been trying to post a comment for awhile but it hasn't been letting me :( anyways that is too funny, all of my kids always pooped in the tub and or shower, it is kinda gross but I guess it relaxes their little bowels and the heat too!! They grow out of it though so that is a good thing!!
gotta love shower poopin'....
Anyhoo, great new site - I'm still tempted to move to blogger...who knows - I still might.
Anyways, look forward to meeting you next month at FW!

Tanya...
I had Soph poop in the tub once. Not much makes me want to barf, but that did. I just kept tossing my hands in the air, leaving the bathrrom, going back in the bathroom, tossing my hands up...I was in such a dither. Finally I put on some rubber gloves and DEALT. Which I would NOT have done if Dean had been home. I would have sicced him on the poop.
Now, I have a blogger account too but an a complete arse when it comes to figuring things out...do you think you could give me a hand with stuff? When you have time...
I love the way this looks by the way...great job!
Take lovely care of yourself. It is Fall time and I am back in the bloggin' mood. I expect I will be around more often...I don't know what it is about summer. I get so crabby and not myself. Some people hibernate in the winter, I hibernate in the summer...whatever...
Alison
p.s. upon reading that comment again, I felt I needed to clarify. It's not the crabby part that makes me not like myself. I am crabby all the time...inter-seasonal. Just wanted to be clear.
Ahh and yet another moves to blogger! The site looks great - love the banner! It seems that everyone has been making the jump! I still plan on visiting ya - I have to keep updated on his majesty...
it's always been my favorite when they poop in the tub...sometimes the mess isn't so bad when it "floats" (graphic huh?)
Take care - now I just have to change your link on my page!
Cheryl
EWWWWW! Haddie only ever pooped in the bath once but Bode did it his first time around. Must be a boy thing. :-)
That was too funny. What a cute little waterbug you have!
I hope you are having a great weekend!
Oh, how many times have my little ones pooped in the shower? And why do we have to clean it up? I want to know!
I thought it was the funniest though, when I threw the 2 year old in with the 7 year old and she pooped in his bath water. He has never ever been the same!
